Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Administrator to join our team on a one-year maternity leave contract. This role is responsible for providing administrative support across the organization, managing customer service inquiries for the 34 Street brand, coordinating office activities and events, and ensuring the office operates efficiently. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, resourceful, and thrives in a fast-paced environment while embodying ANC's core values of Respect, Impact, and Innovation.

Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service & Brand Support:
  • Manage customer inquiries, complaints, and product replacement requests for the 34 Street brand in a professional and timely manner.
  • Respond to customer emails and phone inquiries while providing exceptional customer service.
  • Escalate customer concerns when necessary and maintain accurate records of customer interactions.

Office Administration:
  • Answer incoming phone calls, take messages, and direct calls to the appropriate team members.
  • Welcome visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Receive deliveries and assist with general front office operations.
  • Collect and distribute incoming mail twice per week.
  • Perform general administrative duties, including filing, document preparation, data entry, and maintaining office records.
  • Maintain office supplies and ensure office equipment is functioning properly, 
  • Assist with maintaining an organized, clean, and professional office environment.

Event Coordination:
  • Plan and coordinate company events, employee celebrations, team-building activities, and other internal events.

General Support:
  • Provide administrative support to various departments as needed.
  • Assist with special projects and operational initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as required to support the business.

Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in an office administration, administrative assistant, receptionist, or office coordinator role.
  • Diploma or certificate in Office Administration, Business Administration, or a related field is considered an asset.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional, friendly, and customer-focused attitude.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience maintaining office equipment and coordinating office operations is considered an asset.

Additional Information:
  • Job Type: Full-Time, 1-Year Contract (Maternity Leave Coverage).
  • Expected Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
  • Work Location: In Person.
